JUST GOT THIS PIECE AS WELL AS A SLIGHTLY SMALLER ONE IN FROM A LOCAL ESTATE; SOME QUITE FANCY WORK WAS DONE TO MAKE THESE UP.  WE WILL BE LISTING THE SMALLER COIN AS WELL IN A SEPARATE AUCTION.
GREAT BRITAIN CROWN or SHILLING (NOT SURE WHICH THIS IS) THAT HAS HAD SOME VERY NICE ENAMELING WORK DONE ON THE REVERSE AND HAS A GOLD "WASH" APPLIED TO THE OBVERSE.  IT WAS THEN PUT IN A CUSTOM BEZEL (LOOKS AS THOUGH IT MAY BE STERLING SILVER) AND, ORIGINALLY, HAD THICK GLASS COVERING BOTH SIDES.  SADLY, THE GLASS IS MISSING FROM THE ENAMELED SIDE.  THE ENAMELING IS STILL MAGNIFICENT.  COIN IS SOMEWHAT TURNED IN THE BEZEL BUT I'M SURE THIS IS CORRECTABLE.
