This souvenir program is from the original 1947-48 Broadway production of
Allegro
,
by
Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II.
The original Broadway cast listed in the program included John Battles, Annamary Dickey, John Conte, Kathryn Lee, Roberta Jonay, William Ching, Lisa Kirk, Muriel O'Malley, Wilson Smith, Stephen Chase, Katrina Van Oss, Lily Paget, Lawrence Fletcher and Paul Parks.
Program is 9 x 12, 16 pages, and contains photos and bios of the cast members listed above and the creators of the show, plus three pages of production photos.
CONDITION:  Please note that there is jagged tearing at top corner of sixth and seventh pages- with some paper loss.
(See third and fourth scans above to see location and extent of tearing)  Only photo affected is the one of Lisa Kirk; it has a crease line through it. Otherwise, program is in very good condition, with small edge tear on front cover, tiny splits to covers at top and bottom of spine, moderate soiling/small stamp on back cover.
